About Us
Veda Prakaasanam is the publication division of Veda Academy.
Sri Veda T. Sridharan, the founder of the Academy, has done extensive research on handwriting for more than a decade. He has developed an innovative approach to making cursive books using computer fonts – probably the first of its sort at a global level. He has personally trained hundreds of students on handwriting improvement.
Research, Quality and Service
The uniqueness of the Prakaasanam is not only the research and quality parts of the books, but also the service provided by the organisation to its customers. We don’t just stop with supplying the books to the schools, we also provide training and support to the teachers so as to make use of the products properly to reap cent percent benefits. This is a very rare concept and only a very few publications dare to provide such an intensive customer support.
strategy we adopt is unique
The marketing strategy we adopt is unique, too: We organise one day workshops for teachers at various places, where we introduce our concept. In these workshops we allow the participants to have a hands on practice and evaluate the quality of our books. Again, this is a unique marketing strategy not usually resorted to by textbook publications. The monogram of the Prakaasanam clearly declares how ready we are to put in persistent and consistent efforts to reach our goal: To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield (by Alfred Lord Tennyson)
we are pious and simple people
At the same time, we are pious and simple people, deep-rooted in culture and spirituality. Pujya Sri Swami Omkarananda, the Peethadhipati of Pudukottai Bhuvaneswari Peetham and the founder acharya of Sri Swami Chidbhavananda Ashram at Theni and Sri Ra. Ganapati, the compiler of Deivattin Kural (the complete works of Sri Chandrasekharendra Swamigal, the then Peethadhipati of Kanchi) are our mentors. The monogram of the Academy is enough to express the innate nature of the people of our organisation: We walk by faith and not by sight (from the Holy Bible)
Training
The uniqueness of the Prakaasanam is not only the research and quality parts of the books, but also the service provided by the organisation to its customers.
