Veda Prakaasanam is the publication division of Veda Academy, established in 2009 to publish research-based handwriting books and educational resources for schools, teachers, and students.

Veda Academy was founded in 2000 by Sri Veda T. Sridharan, a journalist-turned-textbook publisher who dedicated years of research to handwriting improvement. His innovative work led to the development of the Veda Approach, a unique methodology that combines structured learning with practical classroom application.

Following the overwhelming response received from schools, Veda Prakaasanam was established to publish new titles, expand its educational resources, and provide continuous teacher training and support.
